As an executive member and Co-President of the Black Student Athlete Council, I am apart of the founders of this trailblazing group and I fill the roles of Communications Director and External Relations Manager. Within these roles, I work to ensure the group is up to date with the latest updates given by the university as well as from organizations which reside in our community. I also work as a liaison to other groups in order to set up events and speak on behalf of the group when required to do so. On top of all of this my highest priority within the group is to spread awareness on anti-black racism and foster equity and inclusion on McMaster's campus and within athletics for BIPOC student-athletes and students.

Summer Communications Assistant student position at McMaster's Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs Department. I Produced and hosted some of the highest-performing Instagram reels and posts for McMaster University’s central account, gaining 50 to 70k views per post.I acted as a production assistant for marketing and editorial video shoots, supporting camera work or editing when needed (Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro)I created a concept for and executed a series of articles entitled “Marvels at Mac” for the McMaster Daily News. As the key information source for the campus community, this website reaches on average over 40k people per week.

As an ambassador of the Student Affairs Division, working as an Archway Mentor, I supported a community system in an assigned community of first-year students that promoted personal dignity, mutual respect, and consideration for others. As an Archway Mentors it was my responsibility to work towards creating excitement about joining the McMaster community while helping students to feel like they belong.
