Brandon Blakeman is an Architect and creative entrepreneur with an unwavering spirit to create infill housing and civic spaces that improve social conditions. He founded Workshop B Architects to integrate the architect, developer, client, and contractor into one company, restructuring the traditional model of design and development. The result is a vertically integrated company that creates award-winning infill housing and civic spaces using a progressive model of practice. Brandon received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development for Architects degree from Woodbury University. He spent more than 15 years working on educational and civic projects throughout California before founding Workshop B Architects. He was also an educator, teaching 3rd year undergraduate design as well as a guest juror at several universities. Brandon is a licensed Architect in California, Oregon and Washington and currently lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife and two daughte

The project included Type I and II construction with cast in place concrete, tilt up concrete, moment frame steel with concrete shear walls and CMU. The school presents a new model for education that is based around collaboration by both students and faculty. A Student Union, campus wide WI-FI, and shared common areas are a few unique features. Brandon assisted in final building department approvals and the coordination of the project due to changes by the client prior to approval.
