In this role, I lead a team of engineers in InSinkErator's Product Engineering - Sustaining group. This group works on any existing household food waste disposer product lines or components for household food waste disposers, household disposer accessories, and VAVE projects. Additionally, I oversee product safety testing on household food waste disposers and work with our Reliability team. I also lead the Engineering Services team that is responsible for all engineering change orders, item master changes, and bills of material management. Lastly, I lead the Engineering Systems team that is responsible for PLM and CAD Administration, Change Management software, and other engineering-related process improvements

Within the residential disposer product sustaining group, I assist manufacturing with production related issues relating to the parts manufactured in-house or from suppliers. I make decisions on non-conforming parts on how they should be dispositioned. I participate in A3, PPAP, DFMEA, cost saving, and supplier qualifying projects. Issue engineering change orders to ECO/ECN process. Primary focus on supporting powder metal parts, fasteners, and labeling related projects. Use of Siemens NX 11 for 3D modeling and drafting.Additionally, I'm leading an international engineering team in the development of a new product. This involves using teleconference tools and organization skills to keep the team on track. This project also involves significant contact with suppliers in the development of purchased components. I've participated in collecting market research for the product, giving me a chance to speak with end users, and showroom sales representatives.

For 2020 I'm participating in a rotation program within InSinkErator. I am spending 6 months in Supply chain and 6 months in Marketing/Product Planning. As a Marketing Coordinator my focus is on CRM tools for B2B relations. I also assisted in launching of new products SKUs for our retail customers.

Lead resource for Microsoft SharePoint and InfoPath forms within department. Use of MySQL databases and scripting to develop data processing tools and for data analysis. Streamlined a customer’s process netting $18,000 in postal savings on a single project.

Processed mailing data for print publications and direct mail. Utilized SAP Presort, DataRightIQ, Merge/Purge, and other proprietary tools to prepare the data for the Finishing Department.
