My name is Brandon Bostick, and I am a third-year law student at the University of Oklahoma. I am a motivated and communication-focused leader with experience spearheading dynamic teams, both domestic and international, conducting complex, cross-functional projects. I have a history of pursuing large-scale global objectives, including community, state, and international projects. I have previously excelled in team management, international relations projects, and the procuring and exploiting foreign cultural intelligence. While in Afghanistan as a psychological operations specialist, I was in charge of interrogating military-aged males the unit encountered on the targeted compound and supervising the embedded team of Afghan Special Forces soldiers. I am looking for opportunities to assist fellow veterans in healthy and meaningful reintegration into civilian life upon completing military service. I have dealt with post-traumatic stress disorder since I returned from Afghanistan, and I know it's easy to adopt maladaptive coping techniques to deal with the symptoms. The Veterans Affairs hospital system has been a great help to me. I can significantly change veterans' lives by providing dynamic, veteran-focused leadership from within the organization.
