As the MIQA Leader and member of site leadership team, modeled Core Values and provided technical expertise to High Hazard Process Site. Interfaced with site maintenance, Aniline sister site network, Corporate MIQA Network, and business to developed and executed corrective actions. In addition to MIQA Efforts, supervised a summer intern, assisted in day to day maintenance, and led minor cost / capital projects.• Led PSM Criticality Assessment and MIQA Gap Analysis at the Baytown and Beaumont Aniline Sites. At the time approximately 8000 equipment pieces with approximately 2500 PSM Critical.• Led scope development, planning assistance and execution of inspections during the site’s 51 day shutdown. Using site personnel, contract and leveraged inspectors, and subject matter experts, 24 internal inspections were performed and 3 major vessels were repaired on time and within budget.• Applied Six Sigma and Reliability principles to identify and improve site recycle gas compressor reliability by over 100 day of run time between failures.

Perform research in the area of composite joining, focused on failure mechanics of thick joints. Reviewing pertinent papers in the area. Planning and preparation for destructive tensile testing of thick composites. Work with fellow research assistants and faculty to publish new research.

As an intern, integrated with the 2012MY Global Ford Focus launch team. Working with the water and air sealing team, reviewed design intent, participated in leakage testing and developed corrective actions based on cost and timing. As project manager for exterior color harmony, coordinated 29 suppliers, Ford design, and engineering to achieve final part approval. Additional responsibilities included, leading weekly international color harmony meetings, color reviews and tool tryout level vehicle reviews.

Provided friendly, knowledgeable assistance to the large number of patrons attending various events. Support for 15 to 20 ushers during events by providing assistance in the form of rest breaks and help in emergency situations. Interviewed and trained new ushers and supervisors.
