I have a huge interest in getting involved in the Automotive/Motorsports world. I am trying to pursue a career that contains both engineering and hands on work. To prepare me for this I am currently taking Motorsports Engineering courses at IUPUI. What lead me to IUPUI was my experience in High School with the EACC (Elkhart Area Career Center). In this program I took one year of Automotive 1 and one year of Outdoor Power Technology.

EmployeeLippert Components Jun 2018 - Aug 2018United StatesLippert Components plant 228W is their window production plant. This is the plant that I worked for. The windows plant produces an enormous amount of windows for all the surrounding RV companies. This job was the most physically demanding job I have ever had. I was working 60 hour weeks while doing the job of 3 people. I was in charge of packaging the completed windows. This includes loading the windows into a foam fixture, putting the bundles through a bander, pulling the bundles off the bander then loading them onto a pallet, then wrapping the windows in plastic to secure them to a pallet, after that I finally would take the pallet to the shipping docs. Working at Lippert taught me how to take large roles of responsibility. -
