- Work from home setups - VPN/RDS/softphone, adapting industry firewalls for home, etc.- Supporting critical systems in frontline healthcare facilities- Networking equipment support, design, deployment, and troubleshooting; including firewalls, modems/routing, switches (managed/unmanaged), access points, VPNs, TCP/IP, etc.- Windows server experience, including design, building, deployment, and troubleshooting with servers hosting domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, AD, Azure, group policy- Virtualization experience with VMware ESXi and vSphere; host building, implementation, and troubleshooting and virtual client configuration and upkeep for many purposes (my current focus)- Experience with various Exchange and cloud email services: on-premise/virtual Exchange, Office 365, and G Suite (also migration tools)- Experience with anti-spam services, such as Roaring Penguin/AppRiver and Office 365- Extensive experience with other Microsoft Office 365 services including Azure AD- Remote and on-site experience- Providing excellent customer service, solutions, and relationship-building- VoIP certification and experience (mostly Zultys)- Project management/coordination, ownership, and self-management- Large volume deployment for organizations of new/replacement machines- Responsibility for designing, prepping, and deploying entire networks and environments, from the modem, firewall, workstations, and down to the smallest printers- Experience with various types of clients; from personal, small to large professional business- Vendor relationships- Critical organization, management and prioritization of tickets and tasks, including emergency recovery of critical healthcare services/equipment- Emergency and downtime response- Maintaining important relationships with senior engineers to continue learning and challenging myself, as well as development and professional growth toward the senior engineer position- Training and support of other engineers
