Supervised and led a diverse team of 16 highly trained electricians in the NorthWestern Energy Protective Relay Shop. Managed several expensive projects that were all happening simultaneously. I dealt with personnel issues as they happened, inspired the team when it was needed, and also managed to meet deadlines. One of the most difficult parts of this job was keeping up with all the complicated compliance requirements for protective systems on the electric grid. This required training additional personnel to conduct this compliance testing, and planning work many months in advance to meet deadlines.
