Ohio State's College of Education and Human Ecology serves 4,000 between undergraduate and graduate students with over 500 faculty and staff. As a member of college executive council leading technology and facilities, I nurture close partnerships with EHE and university leadership to leverage technology and physical spaces supporting instruction, recruitment, advancement, and community engagement. My role allows us to develop five-year strategy, mission, and vision for facility planning and systems implementation. Within the college, I direct a broad IT service portfolio that includes web development, client computing support, networking, server support, IT risk management, instructional technology, and college-wide IT asset management. Additional roles include serving as executive lead for facilities and space planning as well as co-chair of the university-wide IT Partnership Council, a collaboration of other university information officers and executive IT leadership on common solutions and strategy as well as classroom instruction.

Collaborate with Student Life departments to understand the impacts to their operations and process improvement opportunities. Work with the Student Life leadership team to prioritize key operational decisions and funding for changes to Student Life managed systems. Organize and deliver relevant project deliverables to Student Life leadership on a periodic basis while collaborating, university-wide, to transform business processes and user interactions.Lead student engagement efforts for esports and gaming at the collegiate level. Oversee facilities and programs to support inclusive and accessible gaming opportunities for all Ohio State students. Collaborate with various university teams to research the impact of gaming on student success and career development. For the Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS), manage and extend the service catalog to deliver best-fit functionality to state agencies in the areas of human capital management, financial management, budgeting & planning, asset management and other administrative functions.- Develop and facilitate enterprise governance between multiple state agency for HR, Fiscal, Purchasing, and Business Intelligence initiatives.- Align business architecture to technology architecture. Ensure that OAKS services integrate with OIT strategies and enterprise level services across the state.- Understand and integrate diverse state agency business models with OAKS to continue quality delivery of services in the most cost effective matter possible.- Oversee service delivery of the state employee portal (MyOhio.gov) and enterprise learning management system (ELM).- Identify and detail administrative system integration points between PeopleSoft Portal/HCM/FIN/ELM/CRM and other key technology services: identity management, content & document management, enterprise messaging, telephony, etc.- Ensure the continued rollout of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) across OAKS service areas.
