I'm a software engineer passionate about building and testing high-quality code and tools. I enjoy trying new methods and pushing my boundaries when a project allows for it, and I also know when to buckle down, keep it simple and get a new product or update out the door quickly and with quality.I started my career in quality assurance and appreciate quality code and high levels of testing because of it. I usually push myself to do as much unit and smoke testing as possible for any code I produce.I have a pet project at Interop Technologies called the Test Harness, which became the company's go-to testing tool for all products. I drove the initial design, used it in the early ages, helped develop many of the core features, and oversaw its future roadmap.I'm known for my flexibility on projects and have shown that I can learn new languages, tools, and software with relative ease and speed. Because of this, I have been assigned to many new initiatives and projects while maintaining existing ones I've worked on, providing documentation and mentoring for those stepping in after me.I recently stepped into a DevOps role, building up a CI/CD pipeline that introduced containers, Kubernetes, Helm, and Jenkins into the mix. It was a fun and challenging project to set up that has helped Interop push many products into a new age.
