Recruiting Biz Ops (Program Manager, Recruiting Manager, Analyst) I was tasked with tackling Recruiter Productivity. I created custom datasets in Redshift and Coginiti that used inferential logic to separate out basic calculations like hires per recruiter into a nuanced view. I built custom Quicksight dashboards on these datasets that I used in writing research papers to isolate specific issues, and then ideated solutions. Solutions were presented to recruiting leadership for their buy-in, and then I would lead the programmatic implementation and change management. I led a R4R (Recruiting-for-Recruiters) team of 6 recruiters hiring technical sourcers. I led the passive sourcing efforts of our recruiters and owned the relationship with vendors for contract-to-hire roles. I spearheaded an initiative to promote from within by identifying individuals who had transferable skills. Our team hired over two hundred individuals in under six months before we were asked to pause. I owned a complex initiative to create dynamic headcount tracking for a new organization (330 individuals). When I arrived, our tools were based in Excel, required thirty hours per week to maintain, was difficult to use in analysis, and regularly had errors. I moved the tracking into an automated dashboard in Quicksight using SQL in Redshift. The final product became a key deliverable for our weekly business reviews to predict our current and future headcount. During this time, I also was responsible for our site strategy, setting hiring goals with the R4R team, and occasionally MC’d the weekly business review with our leaders.

I came on board to start the reporting analytics function for Amazon’s BizDev recruiting teams (Advertising, Prime Video, Digital Music, and others). I started the business reporting dashboard and handled back-end data for the first two years. I created the individual recruiter metrics using a lifecycle model, which has since become the standard, and then dovetailed that project into a recruiter scorecard that was highlighted as a ‘game-changing product’ that I product and program managed. I led a research function to generate lists of former candidates to recruiters, leading to dozens of hires yearly. I also handled a number of side projects in channel prediction (Tupac), key metrics (AAA), offer decline tracking (dispoflow), time-to-hire (cycle time), and diversity and inclusion reporting (PRM).

I recruited for Amazon, specifically the Digital Music, Video and Studios teams. We are hiring Software Development Engineers, Development Managers, Technical Program Managers and many other technical roles. Lead multiple new recruiter technologies and developed and lead training for all sources related to using our internal systems. Recognized by peers as the expert in this area.Filled numerous roles by direct contact sourcing that had been open for months, sometimes years.

Corporate recruiter for all non-executive placements.Brought on board to reduce the firm's reliance on outside vendors- I have reduced vendor costs from approx $150,000 in 06 (prior to my arrival) to $35,000 in 07 to 0 in 2008. In 2009 I spearheaded a very large consulting project, hiring over 75 disparate resources in one quarter.In 2010 I functioned as the sole recruiter for almost half the year. I took on the lions share of the requisition load while we selected and trained the next TA consultant; closing out the professional services project from 09 and working as the main TA contact for our next large project.
