I am an ambitious high school junior dually enrolled at Wake Tech Community College, with a passion for entrepreneurship, urban planning, and civil engineering. As a Wake County Youth Officer for the 4-H Teen Council, I lead initiatives such as the School Showcase Program (SSP), introducing K-8 students to STEM education and civic engagement through interactive workshops. I’ve spearheaded events like the 4-H Teen Expo, connecting teens with career resources, community organizations, and leadership opportunities.Nationally, I serve as Youth Director for the Eastern United States on the 4-H National Geospatial Leadership Team. Through this role, I work with professors, policymakers, and community leaders to address challenges in agriculture, infrastructure, and public policy. I am currently leading the NOURISH project, which uses GIS to combat food insecurity and create data-driven solutions. I am also focused on expanding the National Team’s representation to 25 states by 2025, providing more youth with access to STEM and GIS opportunities.Locally, I’ve worked with the City of Raleigh and Wake County Public Libraries to design programs promoting STEM education, civic engagement, and leadership development. My leadership roles have enabled me to build meaningful partnerships across public and private sectors, furthering community-focused initiatives that make tangible, lasting impacts.My involvement in Model United Nations and Congressional Debate has sharpened my leadership, critical thinking, and public speaking skills. Academically, I excel in advanced placement and college-level courses, focusing on engineering and the sciences.Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering at NC State University, with aspirations to establish a company specializing in placemaking, real estate, and transportation. Through my work, I strive to create innovative infrastructure solutions that improve communities and inspire youth to take a more active role in shaping their own.
