One of which was for Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections. I used this report to follow up with terminal managers to verify if DOT inspections were completed before their due dates. As a Transport Scheduling Analyst, I was tasked with ensuring that gas stations in my assigned market always had fuel to sell. I would create and maintain drivers’ work schedules and assist the drivers with any issues they may encounter during their shift. I was also responsible for scheduling the required ethanol loads for the week. This was a 24-hour operation where we worked in 12-hour shifts. During the weekends we would have to schedule all remaining ethanol loads to be delivered. Some weekends I had to get creative with scheduling my ethanol deliveries.
