Since middle school, I knew I wanted to be a digital marketer. The idea of blending creativity, strategy, and technology to connect people with what they need always appealed to me. After graduating from The Ohio State University, I set out to build a career in this field, and every step along the way has taught me something new and exciting.I started my marketing career in the vacation rental and real estate industry, helping people rent or buy a home along North Carolina's Outer Banks. I then transitioned to leading digital marketing for an organization that operates the world’s largest hang-gliding school and 20+ retail stores along the East Coast, mostly clustered in the Carolinas. Next, I dove into the fast-paced world of e-commerce, leveraging drop shipping and affiliate marketing to sell officially licensed sports merchandise online. I managed, grew, and monetized a large, segmented email list (covering NFL, MLB, NCAA, and more) using tools like Klaviyo, ClickFunnels, MailChimp, Shopify, ActiveCampaign, and Zapier. This experience sharpened my skills in email marketing, audience segmentation, and data-driven strategy.In 2020, I transitioned to the insurance industry and joined Marsh, where I now lead marketing efforts for Marsh Affinity’s e-commerce vertical. My work focuses on helping small business owners understand the importance of insurance and making it as easy as possible for them to protect what they’ve built.Over the past decade, I’ve gained hands-on experience in everything from marketing automation and SEO to graphic design and paid search.
