Leaving his hometown with no college degree, Brandon pursued a big vision for his life and turned ideas into action, despite significant setbacks. After starting as a performer with Up with People, a non-profit, education-based international performing troupe, he moved into real estate, literally knocking door-to-door to find his footing in the industry. Then in 2006, Brandon co-founded the real estate company Keller Williams Capital Properties in Washington, D.C. and grew the organization to eight locations and nearly $100 million in revenue—all through and in spite of the financial crisis, earning him a spot on the Inc. 5000 honor roll and his company recognition on multiple lists, including Washington Business Journal’s list of the fastest growing companies in the D.C. area and the Washington Post’s list of Top Workplaces. However, despite his entrepreneurial success, Brandon always found himself in the same predicament: searching for happiness after each accomplishment, making irreconcilable trade-offs at every step. He realized this cycle never ends—unless you decide to end it. Through a journey of personal discovery and lots of planning, he learned how to stop making trade-offs and truly have it all—by inspiring creativity to bring vision to life, learning to love the journey, building financial capacity, and giving generously to drive lasting impact. With his company, the Alchemy of Money®, Brandon continues to demonstrate that anything is indeed possible by helping others see and make a plan to have it all in their own lives. He also continues executing real estate and hospitality projects. Brandon serves on several boards and is a member of YPO. He lives with his husband in Washington, D.C., and they can often be found traveling all over the world.
