Designed and implemented a multi-stage data ingestion solution using AWS native applications. Perform batch file parsing of files with disparate encodings. Enriched with correlated data from other internal systems. Composed related records into a transaction-level view. Standardized output into structured random-access data file storage using Apache Parquet. Leveraged AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Batch, Event Bridge, S3, SNS, and SQS. Subject matter expert for internal development platform for Java services on Millennium (flagship product suite), including middleware and operational tooling. Develop, maintain, and improve internal development platform libraries to standardize system integration and technical capabilities across services in Millennium including service discovery, reliability, operational tooling integration, resilience, data serialization, message broker interaction, IOC and dependency injection, database configuration, in-process caching, object-relational modeling, and logging abstraction. Provide guidance on design and usage through design sessions, knowledge transfers, internal meetup presentations, wiki docs, sample projects, and Javadoc to developers writing services for Millennium. Perform validation of integration of Millennium platform with new versions and providers of layered software including operating systems, JREs, Java Enterprise platforms, middleware brokers, and APM providers through isolated environment testing using automated end-to-end regression testing, integration testing, and manual testing. Implement, enhance, and maintain Maven plugins and Eclipse IDE plugins for creation and maintenance of services on the Millennium platform. Serve as platform security champion; review analysis and manage notification process to address software vulnerabilities in FedRAMP environment and provide information to log POA&M and help coordinate and track remediations.Mentor a team of 8 developers, participate in code reviews, and host monthly knowledge transfers and demos.
