As the Founder of In Fly We Trust, I am on a passionate mission to inspire and empower individuals through the art of adult coloring books. As a Community Outreach Specialist for Jefferson Memorial Forest, I played a vital role in fostering connections with communities, primarily focusing on the West End of Louisville. My main objective was to introduce and educate residents about the natural world within their respective neighborhoods. Through targeted outreach and engagement initiatives, I organized events, educational opportunities, and developed impactful marketing materials, including a successful billboard campaign for the government division.One of my key responsibilities was serving as the community liaison and facilitating community meetings for the West Louisville Outdoor Recreational Initiative (W.L.O.R.I). During my tenure, I successfully managed various projects, such as creating compelling videos for the Giving Tuesday campaign, orchestrating three community days for the Shawnee Park cleanup, and spearheading a billboard campaign for the non-profit organization, Wilderness Louisville.Additionally, I took on the responsibility of overseeing and guiding the Summerworks Louisville youth during the summer of 2022, providing mentorship and valuable work experiences to young talents. Throughout my time with Jefferson Memorial Forest, I strived to bridge the gap between communities and nature, leaving a lasting impact on environmental awareness and community engagement.

As a Multimedia Specialist, my role includes creating content for email, web, and social media. In this role I am flexible and also a problem solver. One day I am shooting and editing video for an upcoming fundraising campaign and the next week I am creating intros for a podcast. The job is challenging and has been a joy since I have started. I am part of a creative team that produces content for millions of people within the Episcopal and Anglican church.

My role at Cincinnati Herald is to create and manage content for both the newspaper and website. This includes photography, video, graphic design, and web design as well as some marketing aspects as well. In the unique position of the Cincinnati Herald, the role also includes researching and writing stories and editorials for both print and web.

Cincinnati Community Media is the public access channel for Cincinnati. Within this role, we gave a platform for community to come and voice their opinions or showcase their talents and interests. Though much of the job consists around organizing the studio, the shoots, the schedules and things of that nature. The other part of the job meant encouraging people to be open and to improve their show over time. Live Learn Exchange was an idea to connect classrooms around the world. We worked to pair classrooms within the Cincinnati area to each other and ultimately had some success in our endeavor. Classes were connected between Cincinnati, Ohio and students in Costa Rica, Nigeria, and India. Unfortunately, we could not obtain the funding that was necessary to keep the endeavor active, though a wealth of information and insight was gained from the experience.

A ten-month program that brings together the best and brightest of Cincinnati. It is an educational experience that creates community, exposes us to community issues, fosters a major network, and tackles some of the issues that plague urban Cincinnati.

Americorp is the domestic version of the Peace Corp in which we spend a year working to enrich our local communities. It is was an amazing experience that showed me how important service work is to the the community. My post was at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and within that post I worked within education and research. Part of my job was to research the Underground Railroad and the freedom fighters of the past. The other part was to give tours of the Freedom Center to our guests. The guests varied in age from pre-schoolers to senior citizens. The crowd may be 1 person to a group of one hundred.
