Brandon Cohen is a private equity real estate investment specialist and currently a Director of Asset Management with HMC. He joined the U.S. Real Estate team in 2012 and is responsible for the firm’s real estate investments across the Eastern U.S. region. His focus is on the execution of asset specific business plans, financings, dispositions and the monitoring of asset performance for a portfolio of office, multifamily, retail and industrial assets. He is currently overseeing or has overseen the business plan execution for over 4.2 million square feet of office space, 4,400 multifamily units ,750,000 square feet of retail space and 355,000 square feet of industrial totaling $1.6 billion in value for HMC’s U.S. real estate strategy.Prior to joining HMC, Mr. Cohen worked for Grandbridge Real Estate Capital and was responsible for all phases of loan production including underwriting and packaging new loans as well as following committed loans through the closing process. Mr. Cohen graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Alabama. Mr. Cohen is a CFA charterholder.
