Primary responsibilities include design and development of Airgas’ B2B and C2B e-commerce websites using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and MS SQL.• Improved performance of websites by implementing SQL Dependency Caching to the Database Access Layer (DAL), optimizing slow T-SQL queries, adding AJAX controls, and reducing trips to web services.• Created web request analyzer to block distributed automated hacking attempts for Airgas.com. Provided the networking team with RegEx scripts to configure the IDS to prevent future DDOS attacks.• Created SQL replication and transformation between databases, necessitated by Airgas’ acquisition of the Refron corporation.
