As a Medical Researcher specializing in Infectious Disease Epidemiology:I led international, multi-year epidemiological research projects and managed multidisciplinary teams across national and international institutions, using advanced quantitative and qualitative research methods. This work also included collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in the strategic design and implementation of epidemiological research and data collection/ analysis methods.I provided technical and strategic advice supporting infectious disease surveillance and public health control policies for Ministries of Health and the World Health Organization, including writing advisory reports and presentations on our findings. I led research dissemination activities, resulting in peer-reviewed publications in Q1 medical journals, international conference presentations, and non-technical presentations to the general public. Key research outputs included cluster-randomised trials, public health program impact evaluations, systematic reviews & meta-analyses, and surveillance data analysis.

I worked collaboratively within the Market Access team and cross-functionally to support Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) submissions for reimbursement approval of new medicines (therapeutic area: Immunology, Advanced Parkinson's Disease, Crohn's Disease). I conducted quantitative and qualitative data synthesis and analyses and tracking of the external health policy environment to inform external market access strategy. I reviewed competitor efficacy and safety data; target product profiles and Public Summary Documents to inform reimbursement strategy.

I coordinated Phase 3 randomised clinical trials (RCTs) evaluating the efficacy of novel neurostimulation techniques for the treatment of refractory depression; including investigating neural mechanisms of depression via neuronal electrophysiology. I coordinated a tertiary treatment clinic offering neurostimulation treatments for refractory depression including administering treatments using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), and Ketamine. I coordinated data governance activities across 48 national and international hospitals to standardize ethical and quality reporting of clinical, safety, and patient-reported outcomes for electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and TMS.
