About Brandon Lee Richardson
I was born to a single mother who has always had a deep passion for the arts. In my early childhood, she recognized my creative abilities and did everything she could to nurture them. Although I excelled at various forms of visual art, I found myself gravitating towards music and became fascinated with the endless possibilities of telling stories through sound. I decided to pursue music production as a career during my freshman year of high school and from that moment, I went for it head on.In high school, I had no musical or technical skills. I didn't have immediate access to any mentors at the time, so I searched for any resources I could find (before the era of social media) and taught myself. I've always lived by the idea that if there aren't any opportunities available, create your own and find a way. I spent at least five hours a day teaching myself music composition, music production, sound design, audio engineering, audio mixing, and audio mastering.In college, I was accepted into a highly competitive Music Production program at SUNY Purchase. During my time there, I was fortunate enough to connect with professors and mentors who are also Grammy award-winning composers, music producers, and audio engineers. They recognized something special in me and helped elevate my skills to the highest level while also teaching me the business side of the industry.After graduating with my Bachelors degree, I established a side-business in the form of an independent music production company called PAZ Music Group. Through my company, I have produced and engineered hundreds of songs and numerous albums for various artists. In 2017, I discovered a singer/songwriter named Kendyle Paige and began producing/developing her as an artist under PAZ Music Group. Our work together continues to yield success at a steady rate and she currently has over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone.In addition to my love for music and audio, I have always had a passion for video games, animation, and film since my early years. In my pursuit to achieve a fulfilling and well-rounded career, I am currently expanding my endeavors into the game, animation, and film industries.
