Brandon is a financial planner who specialises in finding protection gaps in clients' portfolio to ensure that when unexpected events occurs, clients' liabilities will not be passed on to his/her loved ones. This is achieved by transferring such risk to an insurance company.During the start of his university studies in 2017, Brandon also took up a part-time admin role for his current mentor. His job entails managing corporate claims and liaising with insurers. Initially, Brandon never believed the value of financial planning. The concept of insurance and investment to him was very far fetched, and do not think that insurance can create an impact on people. This belief was further enhanced by the stigma built by black sheeps in the industry and his personal experience with one.However, as time goes by while doing claims for clients, he realised how proper financial planning can indeed benefit people. Having carried out claims that ranged from $50 to $50,000, he realised how these products can actually relieve an individual's financial burden.As such, he found a purpose in this industry and built a passion in helping clients understand these concepts. He do not want clients to deny themselves of such access to financial planning because of stigma, like how he experienced. Hence, Brandon took the leap of faith and walked into the finance industry, despite pursuing engineering in his education years.Brandon strives to be the best in the field. Putting purpose and passion ahead of everything, he aims to incorporate financial literacy in his clients, so as to allow them to manage their money with confidence.
