About Brandon Penny
Sales professional with extensive experience in new business development; sales management; direct end-user sales; sourcing; recruiting; training; and contract negotiating.I began an early real estate career at the age of 23. With a strong real estate background from having grown up in both the building and sales side of residential real estate, as well as the independence and unlimited potential the industry offered, real estate was a natural fit for me. I spent the next 8 years building a very successful career in sales and team growth, before moving into branch management and a leadership role in 2009. As the head of one of the largest real estate offices in the Triangle, I focused on recruiting, training, and coaching sales associates while also managing the operational side of a sales office. I mentored a team of over 80 sales associates and I was responsible for the overall growth and profitability of the branch. In 2014 made the decision to go back to doing what I loved best, hands-on client interaction as a residential sales broker. My curiosity and passion for technology led me to a new path in 2017, signing on with a large-scale enterprise software company that provides server, application, and desktop virtualization; networking; and cloud computing technology.The transition from real estate to technology has been challenging, but my main principles and focus remain the same. I am a solution provider and problem fixer. I enjoy working with clients to identify an issue and finding ways to help solve the problem.
