With over 20 years of experience in the Information and Communications Technology industry, I had begun my journey in the “trenches” as a junior desktop engineer whilst completing my tertiary education. Determined to conquer the ICT industry, I have worked my way up learning and adapting to the ever-changing technology landscape. My passion for datacenter technologies and its architecture has fueled my desire to stay ahead of the curve whilst maintaining a balance between engineering, architecting and mentoring.I have had notable successes in the implementation and architecture of many “first to be deployed in the country” technologies with various Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) hardware vendors. These implementations range from Highly Available solutions using active-active stretched virtualization clusters between datacenters, to enabling Disaster Recovery utilizing various Cloud providers. My knowledge of Networks (LAN/WAN), systems analysis, troubleshooting, as well as various Software Defined technologies, have provided me with in-depth knowledge to assist customers by providing detailed designs that are specifically architected to address their pain points/concerns.Many of the hardware and software vendors have engaged my services to secure opportunities utilizing my skill, knowledge and understanding of the customers business requirements. In the recent years, I spend most of my time specializing in providing customers with innovative solutions that benefit the business’ current IT spend. Although my title has changed over the years, I maintain my knowledge of the most sought-after products and solutions to ensure every solution deployed is beneficial to the customer.
