Monitored 100+ global military/defense agency customers in real time utilizing an array of network intrusion detection and event correlation software supporting 24/7 SOC operations. Conducted comprehensive kill chain analysis of malicious traffic and events to determine root cause, true source, and potential vulnerabilities in the DoD information network. Developed/used enterprise tools to provide rapid reporting of incidents affecting global customers. In February of 2016, I took on the role of Mobility Communications Planning Officer at Scott AFBMy duties included:- Project Lead for Windows 10 Implementation, which involved strategic planning and execution for an Enterprise Wide deployment -‘Mission Anywhere’ Initiative which allowed for mobile client productivity, virtual desktop infrastructure and an overall objective to allow end users to work on the go-Site level technology refresh activities, managed the relationship between the Project Management Office and the site leads, while ensuring the proper requirements were met and adhered to site standards

During these 5 months I returned to the AOC Cybersecurity team and led the execution stage of previous cybersecurity initiatives. I also managed the Hyper-care support for the implemented systems.

Upon arriving to the international location, I was charged with network administration activities. My primary duty was to ensure circuit up-time which provided users with core services and collaboration tools i.e. Outlook 2012 on Premise, Microsoft Active Directory, Cisco VoIP etc. Service Level Agreement turn-around time specified to mitigate outages within 30 mins or less for mission critical circuits. Additionally, I coordinated equipment procurement and installation within multiple countries. I managed the authorized maintenance windows for infrastructure upgrades. Finally, I conducted data aggregation and trend analysis of network traffic on existing infrastructure, and recommended actions for optimal use. At the end of this deployment I returned to the AOC to continue those operations.

During this time my position changed to the Chief of Cybersecurity Operations within the AOC.The AOC applications system is a closed loop system, of which I was charged with developing a new CyberSecurity Strategy to identify infrastructure vulnerabilities and reduce the risk of external threats. I led the Architecture Planning and Coordination of Penetration Testing for System Vulnerabilities. I manged the transition process for a legacy Forensics Application that migrated towards the EnCase Solution, which utilized remote connections for Data Retrieval involving various Citrix Applications. Created policies and determined existing application feasibility to meet new security standards. At the end of Feb 2015, I was deployed internationally for a temporary duty assignment.

During this time I took on the position of Chief of Air Operations Center IT Systems (AOC) and I lead a cross functional team consisting of engineering, operations, and IT personnel. My run operations consisted of planning experimentation testing and coordinating events. For the Plan and Build cycle I led a team to evaluate and test Inventory Management, Business Intelligence, and Asset Tracking IT Systems as well as Site Level Technology Refresh Projects. Some of my experiences include: - Requirements Gathering from Technical Contractors for Inventory Management System- Transition Planning for Legacy Applications- Risk Analysis for updating Enterprise Software Application Standards- Ensuring Successful Data Migration and providing a Seamless End User Experience for over 500K users- Maintained an Integrated Database that indexed classified information - RFP Process and Vendor Selection for Infrastructure Components- Led a team to upgrade over 15 Enterprise Systems during this time period of 20 months
