As a private baseball coach I work primarily with athletes in their high school careers. The first and most important things a client can expect from me are safety and honesty. My first priority is to ensure that players and their families understand how to take care of their bodies through training, recovery, and preventative maintenance. By focusing primarily on fundamentals and repetitive throwing drills, I will ensure that every athlete is prepared to perform to the best of their ability in a manner that will maximize efficiency in their performance, and minimize the risk of injuries that prevent them from competing.

As Executive Director I am responsible for the administration and management of the Foundation's strategic planning, programs, business operations, and fundraising. The PCCF was founded in 1985 and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that represents a variety of interests from throughout Putnam County. The PCCF has awarded nearly $16 million in grants and scholarships in support of the community. The PCCF currently manages nearly $36 million in assets and over 280 charitable endowment funds on behalf of families, individuals, corporations and non-profit organizations.

As the Director of Volunteer Engagement for Delta Sigma Phi, I oversaw the development of our volunteer infrastructure and I was ultimately responsible for the strategic deployment and training of over 1,500 members of our National Volunteer Corps.

In this role, I managed the daily operations of Hoosier Academy Virtual Schools, Hoosier Academy Indianapolis, and Hoosier Academy Muncie, with student populations in excess of 5,000. I also assisted the Heads of Schools in the development and implementation of a comprehensive budget and fulfilled the role of state testing coordinator, a role that required me to supervise mandatory ISTEP and ECA testing periods. In addition, I maintained operational compliance and completed reports as required by state and federal law, the Indiana Department of Education, and the Hoosier Academy School Board. I served as the direct manager for the enrollment team, the operations staff, the registrar, and select groups of parent and community volunteers, whom I recruited and trained.

As a corporate enrollment representative, I conducted community outreach to corporations in central and southeast Indiana on behalf of Indiana Wesleyan University, including attending Chamber of Commerce meetings in Marion, Hamilton, Hancock, and Decatur Counties. After making contact with potential corporate partners, I determined their educational needs and negotiated tuition assistance and exclusive rates for their employees. Once enrollment agreements were acquired I facilitated New Student Orientation seminars for adult learners.

Fresno, Ca

I was promoted again at the University of Phoenix to the role of operations manager; I was in charge of the student services coordinator team and the daily business operations of the University of Phoenix Campus in Fresno, CA. I also addressed all property management issues, including lease agreements, maintenance requests, and capacity limitations as well as conducted internal audits to ensure compliance with Department of Education, federal, and state labor regulations. Additionally, I managed campus safety initiatives and compliance with the Clery Act as the Campus Safety Authority.

San Luis Obispo, California Area

After approximately a year and a half of working at the University of Phoenix, I was promoted to the role of enrollment supervisor. In this capacity, I managed the first enrollment team at the Central Coast Campus, which consisted of recruiting and training new hires in recruitment strategies and financial aid counseling, and increased total enrollment by over 50%. I also administered new student orientations to increase student retention and ease matriculation.

Fresno, California Area

As an enrollment counselor, I recruited and advised new students on program selection, academic strategies, and financial aid for the pursuit of associate, bachelor’s, and graduate level degrees. In addition, I completed follow-up student meetings to ensure compliance in accordance to regulations regarding Title IV funding.

Fresno, California Area

In this role, I designed personalized yellow page advertising campaigns for businesses throughout the San Joaquin Valley of California, managed client accounts and negotiated advertising rates, and up-sold existing clients into advertising in new markets throughout the state of California.

Auberry, Ca

While acting as the interim site manager for the Owens Valley Career Development Center, I managed the prevention, client cash assistance, and adult education departments while the Board of Directors searched for a permanent replacement. These departments had an annual budget amounting to $300,000. Additionally, I implemented site fundraising activities in conjunction with federal, state, and county limitations and liaised with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department, Child Protective Services, the Fresno County Housing Authority, and local school districts to promote tribal wellness.

Auberry, Ca

As a site project coordinator, I authored and implemented drug, alcohol, and pregnancy prevention programs for at-risk children and teens. I also stewarded gifts from local businesses to contribute to our prevention programs and operating budget. In addition, I administered a $150,000 budget across two work sites, managed various organizational projects, and monitored our financial compliance for federal and state funding in conjunction with TANF grants. This is where my passion for nonprofit work began.
