We recognize that successfully resolving disputes does not have to happen in the courtroom, and in fact we often resolve matters without litigation by conducting investigations, engaging in pre-suit negotiations and employing alternative dispute-resolution (ADR) procedures such as arbitration and mediation. Thus, our ability to litigate is balanced by a strong ADR practice, and we utilize those processes when the situation demands it.When litigation is inevitable, we are well prepared to represent clients efficiently, but aggressively. For example, with support from our Information Governance practice, we are able to offer a multidisciplinary approach to the electronically stored information (ESI) and e-discovery aspects of litigation, which can often consume a large percentage of a litigation budget.
