The BYU-Idaho Investment Society has been given $5 Million from the BYU-Idaho Endowment Fund for real life experience within the securities market. We have diversified the funds and allocated certain percentages to different securities. My team and I have a 10% allocation of the funds which we research, analyze, debate, and find the best possible fund/funds that will bring the highest return with the least amount of risk. -We currently have 2 funds that we have invested in within our 10% allocation. Our funds are following the Russell 1000 Growth Index and the other is following the Russell 1000 Value Index.
