CurrentAs the Director Of Academic Computing, I report directly to the Chief Information Officer. Supervise six full-time Systems Administrators and a three-tiered support model with nearly 25 part-time student employees who provide real-time assistance for campus faculty, staff, and student technology needs. Direct the secure configuration and implementation strategy for endpoints, servers, and management platforms such as Intune, Jamf, Azure AD, and SCCM. Oversee vulnerability remediation deployments based on evaluated risk, CVSS results, and CIS controls. Respond to CrowdStrike detections and prioritize EDR across campus endpoints. Oversee the risk management process, selection, and implementation of security initiatives and large-scale IT projects such as long-term hardware lifecycle rotations, software agreements, and mediation upgrades. Provide localized end-user awareness training for information security objectives. Integrate and deploy objectives from other campus IT disciplines such as Security, Operations, Web, and Administrative Systems. Cultivate ongoing positive relationships with university and departmental leadership.
