I am the current President of Acura Valuation and a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. The Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license is the highest achievable license in the country and allows for the valuation of any property type of any value. I service the Southwest Michigan and West Michigan markets and am a current Candidate for Designation in the Appraisal Institute. My experience includes the residential sectors of Single-family, Condominiums, Multi-Family, New Construction and Vacant Land in the Greater Kalamazoo area. I additionally have experience in the commercial sectors of Industrial, Office, Retail, Multi-Family, Self-Storage Facilities, Religious Facilities, Restaurants, and Commercial Vacant Land.Originally from Frankenmuth, Michigan, I am the third generation in my family to pursue a career in real estate and have been highly exposed to all phases of the real estate industry in addition to over 17 years of appraisal experience. I also hold a real estate broker's license and my education contains real estate classroom time from Western Michigan University, the Michigan Institute of Real Estate, and the Appraisal Institute in Chicago, Illinois. I am the past chairman and current member of the Greater Kalamazoo Association of Realtors Risk Management Committee which is in charge of the development of all utilized real estate association agreements and forms. My goal is always to strive to provide the highest level of service to the appraisal profession.
