CurrentI was recruited initially to stand up (install, configure, and manage) a new data center in NC after 9/11. The Clearing House is owned by and serves 20+ of the largest banks in the US, supporting interbank movement of $2 Trillion US daily in high value payments and ACH Services. My outstanding leadership in a technical capacity led to being selected by management to assume the VP level Sr. Principal Engineer role on the infrastructure team in NY and NC. I oversee engineering for a complex infrastructure that includes VMware, storage, AWS, Windows Server, and x86 compute. Cloud and VM Transformation📌Accelerated the path to the Cloud for TCH by implementing VMware Cloud on AWS. Provided technical leadership on the critical build processes necessary for this transformation, including developing infrastructure build and hardening automation around Cloud.Innovation📌Part of a team that introduced the first successful Real-Time Payments (RTP) rail in the US in 2018, which became the basis for the Federal Reserve's own RTP solution. TCH continued to provide guidance as the Fed piloted their now live version of RTP. 📌Saved the company millions of dollars by capitalizing on extensive industry contacts to research, architect, and procure very performant, low latency, high IOPS storage solutions. Organizational and Support Performance Gains📌Provided high availability and consistent service for all x86, VMware, EMC VMAX3, PowerMax storage, fiber channel, backup, and recovery for the entire firm. Directed the Installation and relocation of infrastructure for multiple tier 4 data centers.Team Productivity Improvement📌Introduced best practices and SOPs that reduced time to resolve storage and infrastructure vulnerabilities from 120 days to less than 30. Met all audit and vulnerability remediation deadlines.
