I help software engineers be as successful as they can. They, in turn, build products that help legal professionals keep their information organized, secure, and easily accessible. I manage multiple software engineering teams that specialize in front-end web development and in API development. We work in Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, and nest.js. Part of this role involves research. I am constantly researching ways to improve all aspects of the product and development processes. I investigate new technologies, I build prototypes, and anything else I can think of to make my teams more effective. With my past DevOps experience, I also provide coaching around best DevOps practices. I teach people about microservice architecture, automated build and release pipelines, and how to effectively use Docker and Kubernetes.

I enjoy leading a team of software engineers in meeting customer needs for both cloud-based and on-premises solutions. I enjoy mentoring, tutoring, and providing team members with architecture and designs in ways that help them complete the work as efficiently as possible. I learn new technologies to be able to tutor and mentor others in using those technologies to provide value to customers and to the company.

I helped police officers keep track of their work by designing and developing new features that simplified their day-to-day operations. These features were done in C#, SQL Server, and WPF.

- Decreased the time it took to build and release a product by nearly an hour from using an automated build and release processes.- Reduced the time it took for new customers to start using the product from weeks down to minutes. I did this by creating a data-conversion tool that was able to clone data from 500 tables without disabling foreign-keys.

- Reduced the time it took a door-to-door sales company to calculate their payroll from days to minutes by developing a custom payroll solution using Delphi and MySQL database server.- Assisted a company keep track of their trucks by developing a solution that allowed them take inventory for each truck on a daily basis. This was done using Delphi and Firebird database server.- Helped cable installation teams keep track of upcoming work and existing commissions by providing them with a planning system.

- Saved countless lives by creating a smart engine that could make decisions based on the progression of a given 911 phone call.- Improved the look and feel of a 911 call-taking application by building native Windows widgets in Delphi that were capable of rendering right-to-left languages.

- Served the people of Brazil, at my own expense, in any way possible, including:- Helping them to construct new homes.- Teaching the English language to youth.- Teaching the consequences of drugs, alcohol,and promiscuity to youth, and encouraging them to find healthy hobbies and activities.- Finding employment opportunities for those that could not find work.- Teaching a message of hope and forgiveness to people that had been physically and sexually abused.

- Assisted with the development of a CRM tool in VB6 and SQL Server for managing payroll, sales, and scheduling service visits for a door-to-door pest control sales company.
