•Lead day-to-day counsel to California-based hotel and hospitality group in connection with a dispute with Virgin Hotels related to the construction and operation of a hundred-million-dollar-plus hotel in San Francisco: (1) Defeated Virgin Hotels’ motion for summary judgment/adjudication regarding duties owed under the hotel management agreement, issues of declaratory relief, and hotel owner’s crossclaims. (2) Took and defended almost all depositions, including all experts, the former CEO of Virgin Hotels, and the current CFO. (3) Drafted and conducted trial cross-examinations of all Virgin Hotels’ witnesses, including its former CEO, current CFO, and its damages expert.•Counsel to a highly successful producer, and 40-year Hollywood veteran, in connection with multi-million-dollar dispute with Sony Pictures Entertainment, Woodridge Productions, and executives tied to the production of The Blacklist.•Assisted in the successful resolution of client's federal district court matter against Transamerica Life Insurance for claims related to breach of contract and fraud.
