I am a technical writer, creative writer, improv performer, actor, film producer, engineer, and current cannabis industry worker and cannabis enthusiast. My true passion is in writing with a lean towards comedy, but I enjoy writing in many different forms and genres. I currently work part time at Rise Dispensary as a Personal Care Specialist which has been fun and rewarding to recognize the help I am able to provide to customers/patients who are less experienced with cannabis and are eager to understand more because of my own personal experience as a medical cannabis patient. As a medical cannabis patient myself I have enjoyed experimenting with different doses and ratios of cannabinoids in edibles specifically which has led to me understanding and using cannabis as a supplement instead of a drug to get high. I am energized to help destigmatize the public perception of cannabis because I have seen first hand how it can help transform a person's life and allow and encourage growth professionally, socially, and creatively and I want to help share that message and benefits of cannabis along with my own understanding of how it helps me. The Endocannabinoid system which is found in our bodies is a relatively new discovery in medical science, but I believe it is going to be the building blocks of a new understanding of how our bodies regulate and balance different systems which is extremely exciting the more I learn about it.
