Growing up, I was the kid every mom dreads… the “why?” child. While I’m sure she enjoyed making up ridiculous answers to all my questions, that characteristic in me never faded. In fact, it probably only became more prevalent. I’d spend countless hours when I was the Director of Marketing at Tampa Postal FCU following around the CEO, Finance Manager, Lending Manager asking why this figure affected this ratio, how X affects Y. I’m quite positive I stressed the NCUA examiners more than they did the credit union management. However, this trait also led me to create STRATIX Marketing. Founded in September 2007, right as financial institutions were beginning to suffer extraordinary losses, my goal was to demonstrate to credit unions how marketing played a significant role in maintaining a strong and stable financial institution. Fast forward 11 years later and I’ve had the privilege of working with dozens of credit unions and their affiliates internationally. From facilitating strategic planning sessions to assisting in merger proposals, I’m always ready for a new challenge. At STRATIX, we help credit unions COMPETE & WIN vs Larger Institutions. We’ve grown this concept from a full spectrum of traditional & new-age marketing solutions to creating turn-key, structured programs that give credit unions the ability to grow and deepen member loyalty. A passion of mine has always been financial education. I believe it’s the greatest opportunity for credit unions and actively develop new solutions for credit unions to educate their members. In addition to authoring a financial guide for young adults, I recently created a program that grants credit unions access to hundreds of financial articles ready to share with their members.I’m constantly seeking new ideas and people to help grow our mission of helping credit unions COMPETE & WIN vs Larger Institutions.
