    I was always a 'natural' salesperson. I loved being able to influence others to my way of thinking.... as a child, it worked brilliantly on my parents and friends 😅As an early adult, I learned I could actually use these skills to help people AND make money at the same time. Soon after graduating from high school,I stumbled upon Cellular Sales, the largest authorized retailer for Verizon Wireless.I struck gold. I quickly became top on my sales team in Albany, NY. By the end of my first year, I ended at #3 in sales for in all of New York State. I was cocky, though. I wanted to help others learn how to sell, but had no idea how to properly lead. I burned bridges, failed to develop relationships with my colleagues and began to let my personal health and finances go to the gutter.At 21, I was still top in sales. But I was anything but happy. I was overweight, in massive credit card and absolutely no direction for my career or my life.I actually began looking for different jobs.I even got HIRED at one! (At AT&T, ironically! 😅)I figured it would be a fresh start and a blank slate. I figured the grass would be greener on the other side.Right before I left for training, my sales leader asked me to sit down and discuss the move I was making. He said, "Brandon, you have a future here. You still CAN become a sales leader. You just have to focus on improving YOU first."He gave me a book called 'The Secret', by Rhonda Byrne. I got to work.Within 6 months, I was able to release over 60 pounds of weight.
