As General Counsel, my responsibilities include:Negotiating licenses and rights for our online music download store, music streaming platform, and live and on-demand video platform, with independent and major record labels and performing rights organizations, both US and International.Overseeing the negotiations and approvals of corporate contracts with third party vendors, including the implementation of a contracts management system and approval/review process.Defining terms and conditions for company’s online platforms, including the rules and conduction of national and international online contests.Drafting and negotiating contracts for corporate music festivals and events, including artist agreements.Overseeing the corporate copyright policy.Manage the IP portfolio (both the registration and protection of corporate marks) for Beatport and its parent company, SFX Entertainment.
