Performed fracture critical bridge inspections, load ratings, and gusset plate analysis on 150 bridges throughout nine (9) Ohio Counties. The nine (9) Ohio Counties included Muskingum, Montgomery, Licking, Vinton, Jackson, Clark, Miami, Trumbull, and Union. The majority of the bridge types included steel through trusses. Other bridge types included steel through girders and deck girders with floor beams on top of multiple longitudinal girders. Non-destructive testing was utilized for crack determination (dye-penetrant) and ultrasonic thickness gauges were used to determine gusset plate thicknesses. Load ratings were completed using BARS, STAAD.Pro, and spreadsheets.

Inspected the removal and reconstruction of seven miles of Interstate 77 (subgrade, subbase, and asphalt) and thirteen bridges, numerous miles of pipelines, a retaining wall, a barrier wall, and a noise wall. Gained knowledge in contractor and sub-contractor inspection and state specifications. Made numerous measurements and calculations, detailed drawings, spreadsheets, payments, and miscellaneous jobs both in the field and in the office.
