I am an Aegis computer network technician with experience onboard Guided Missile Cruiser USS Lake Champlain in the United States Navy. As a technician, I maintenance advanced Red Hat Linux based computers and auxiliary cooling support equipment, Cooperative Engagement Capabilities, conduct corrective troubleshooting on various computer hardware parts/applications. I was the System Security Administrator for the Battle Force Tactical Trainer network used for joint branch armed service training operations. I am also experienced with the Aegis Training Domain System. I am currently studying to certify for the COMPTIA Security Plus and Cisco Certified Network Associate certifications as well working toward using my GI bill to continue my college education for a Bachelors in Cybersecurity an Information Technician/Facility Manager.
