For over 40 years, North West Rubber has been providing specialty rubber flooring products to retailers across North America for a variety of applications including agricultural, recreational, playground, traffic, trailer and many others.My role at NWR was managing both the Logistics and Purchasing divisions within North America as well as our imports from China, Malaysia and Indonesia.In less than 2 years, I restructured the shipping and logistics to become a profit generating division for the company, while also restructuring the purchasing department to ensure optimal pricing and delivery metrics were achieved. Total savings obtained between shipping and purchasing department was approx. $450,000 on a yearly basis.
