This service was originally deployed to an on prem machine but has since been migrated to a AWS Nebula 2 environment.## Promotion Authoring Platform### OverviewA web service that enabled our internal clients through an intuitive UI to create and edit the promotions for the Chewy.com website. ### RoleI lead design of the Cart Validation Model that determines which promotions to apply to a given cart. The information being scraped highly ranges on the regularity of it's syntax and formation. Thus we required the use of multiple libraries and technologies for the production of these web crawlers. Some examples of information being scraped were email addresses, phone numbers, and street addresses. We were also tasked with making the web crawlers highly time efficient. To do this we added multi-threaded capabilities to the web crawlers. In addition the web crawlers had to interact with an API to retrieve the URLs to be parsed as well as push the scraped information as valid JSON. We also preformed various other tasks while at EverCompliant such as built an application to screen capture webpages and generating company reports as a web document.
