I was initially brought on as a consultant to assist in the translation of Japanese clinical study documents for submission to the FDA. Once this project was complete, I filled in as needed within the small company. I worked in the facilities department as well as processing samples in the lab as part of a drug study.

I started as a customer service agent in the domestic call center processing an average volume of one hundred incoming calls a day. I was also responsible for processing mail, email, and e-commerce orders. After a year I was promoted to lead agent and was given additional responsibilities of reporting key operating indicators for the department. Following a year in that role, I was promoted to supervisor of the department and managed day-to-day operations as well as employee development. I was also trained and certified as a Six Sigma Blackbelt project manager and ran several process improvement projects.

Emergency Vehicle Solutions is a company which sells emergency equipment to government agencies as wells as building, outfitting, and repairing emergency vehicles. Here I was hired as an inside sales representative and quickly promoted to assistant manager. I was responsible for scheduling, and managing the shop and technicians who built the vehicles. I personally handled some installations, repairs, field service calls, and inventory. This included purchasing, receiving, staging, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping.

I started my career with the department as a police dispatcher. I handled incoming calls for inquiries and emergencies on business and 911 phone lines as well as dispatching police officers via radio. I then moved to a position as a part-time police officer and eventually a full time officer assigned to the patrol division.

At the Belmont Police Department, I began as a vehicle abatement officer, then moved to community service duties as well as handling some work in the records department, and property and evidence. I was then promoted to a police dispatcher.
