Electrical Design Engineer, on the beautiful G500 and G600 aircraft. I was responsible for creating and revising wiring diagrams and harness assembly designs and drawings for various electrical systems on the aircraft. I worked engineering change requests, collaborating with other engineers and the manufacturing floor. I was also a parts librarian, responsible for creating, revising and maintaining parts and symbols in the Capital tool suite. On a daily basis I used Mentor Graphics Capital Logic, Capital HarnessXC, Capital Library and Capital Symbol, along with various other Microsoft and internal Gulfstream software tools.

Instructor for Capital Logic, Capital Modular Harness XC & Other Capital Applications as needed. Provide support (On the Job Training) to Mechatronics Electrical users, and also created and maintained training documentation. I worked closely with the IT team, the Mentor Graphics Consultants, the Mechatronics Engineering team, and the Methodologies team, to ensure our documentation and teaching practices were correct and complete, to ensure a successful roll-out and transition from LCable to the Capital tools.

I worked for IDEX Solutions for almost 12 years, contracted to Daimler Trucks North America.

For 7+ years I worked as a contractor in the CAD/Engineering Data Management (Formerly CAD Tech - Tools and Processes) department as 1st Line of Support for the Electrical CAD (CATIA & Mentor Graphics LCable) Users, and as an Electrical Methodologist. I gave LCable Classes, and help users with any Electrical CATIA or LCable related questions, issues or troubleshooting. I created and updated process documentation, along with testing new programs and system updates. I also assisted with the Catia v4 to Catia v5 upgrade, assisting the Lead developers and instructor with training classes, problem documenting and process documenting. For the last 2 years (starting around April 2010) I worked on the Capital Harness Systems pilot, helping track all of DTNA's software Service Requests (SR's), developed methods and created training materials for their roll out into Production.

Contract CATIA/ Mentor Graphics LCable Design Engineer working in the Electrical Engineering Department, designing and drafting electrical harnesses for Freightliner truck chassis', along with battery cable routings and installations. I've had the responsibility of creating harness designs along with corresponding bill of materials, answering Custom Work Orders and Shop Calls.

Design & Drafting for Boeing Aircraft Systems (under contract); Designing aftermarket Audio/ Video Systems for older planes; 747 mostly. This included brackets and harness routing through out the entire aircraft using CATIA v4.

Electrical & Pneumatic CATIA v4 Contract Designer/ Drafter working on all areas (Chassis mostly) of the Sterling Truck line, doing Custom Application Engineering.

Electrical and Mechanical contract designer/drafter, working on the Hawker Horizon avionics racks and harness routings. I also worked on the designs of antennas and other electrical equipment.
