In collaboration with leadership, I provide guidannce and direction for the overall operations of the recruitment process to ensure we provide a quality HR service and subject matter expertise for talent acquisition and related HR duties and responsibilities. I support the work produced by department staff focused on recruitment as well as any outsourced recruitment partners, and serve as a liaison to other members of the People & Culture team, hiring managers, and WellSpan Evangelical department leaders and staff employees.

Responsible for leading the University’s recruitment efforts, managing the Talent Acquisition Specialist, and serving as the primary strategic HR contact for an assigned portfolio of University divisions/departments. Develops strong working relationships across the campus, gaining an in-depth understanding of the organizational needs, business strategy, challenges, and goals for their assigned divisions/departments. Provides analysis, consultation, and broad functional expertise surrounding talent acquisition, onboarding and employee engagement. Serves as a subject matter expert on recruiting and hiring, applicant tracking systems, and workforce planning. Plays a key role in ensuring recruitment and retention efforts support the University’s goals and actively contributes to Bucknell’s efforts to foster a diverse and inclusive campus community.

Manages jobs.bucknell.edu, the on-line recruitment and job description system, as well as employment services, including staffing, interviewing, new hire information, offer interpretations, and exit interviews.

Participated in the production and design of athletic publications, including, but not limited to, Media Guides and promotional flyers and posters. Also developed and published press releases, feature stories, and result reporting/statistical record keeping for all 22 conference supported sports. Assisted in the supervision and development of the conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
