Student
I am recent graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law. I completed my Juris Doctor in two and a half years and graduated a semester early in December 2017. I sat for the February 2018 bar exam in Pittsburgh. I was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in April 2018.I am hard working, and eager to learn. My past summer experiences have enabled me to develop essential skills like attention to detail and precise drafting. Furthermore, I believe that my research, writing, and analytical abilities have been both displayed and enhanced by my work with the Restatement (Fourth) of Properties and the Wake Forest Journal of Business & Intellectual Property Law. I have acquired specific skills in the health care industry during my time working for the Wake Forest Elder Law Clinic and my past internship at UPMC. Additionally, I have had significant transactional and corporate law exposure during my summer work with the Tuggle Duggins Law Firm and with Koppers Inc. This experience coupled with my commitment to excellence and “team player” mentality derived from my collegiate athletic career would be an asset in any professional position. In addition, my accelerated graduation is an example of my willingness to push myself and work overtime in order to achieve. It also serves as my promise to deliver an excellent work product regardless of work load. In fact, while working in a full time legal position and taking nine credits of summer courses, my grade point average increased. Moreover, during the time of that heavy course load I continued to sharpen my own legal skills and contribute to the Wake Forest Law community as I developed, Limitless, a legal education and professional practice mental training program. Following the program’s inception I co-authored, with a Wake Forest Law Professor, an academic paper about its impact. My dedication to well-done work and my investment in the community around me illustrates qualities that I bring beyond legal skill alone.

In this position I also had the opportunity to present two times in the executive board room to the human resource executives of UPMC. I was able to present my project work from the summer which included working on a new employee website launch enabling savings $20,000 annually. As an Institutional Advancement Intern at Saint Joseph High School I work closely with the advancement team to help St. Joseph continue to grow and prosper. Assistant To The Director Of Admissions
As assistant to the director of admissions we teamed together to work on recruiting students and families to SJHS. We designed events for prospectives students and families. We also did all of our own marketing to reach potential students. We worked closely with current students to get their view on how to reach more families and appeal to more students. Another large aspect of the job was designing orientation events for new students and families. Assistant Basketball Coach
As assistant basketball coach for the Pittsburgh Huskies I was given the opportunity to share my knowledge with younger girls. This was a very challenging and rewarding position. I was able to accurately and effectively communicate my knowledge and experience of skills to my team. This was rewarding because as a collegiate athlete myself I am still learning and putting into practice these skills. Now I have the opportunity to be on the flip side and to give instruction and constructive criticism. This position takes immense communication skills between the head coach, the team itself, and the parents.
