I helm the operations of a boutique business strategy consulting startup, for which I advise domestic and international clients spanning a broad range of industries. Mintovate specializes in dual-use and defense technologies, and our portfolio of products includes security and weapon systems, ballistic and blast units and materials, energy and water production, and digital transformation.

For BHI, I oversaw all facets of strategy planning and execution for driving growth. Highlights of my overall contributions and daily responsibilities include:Manage opportunity pipeline through proposal management and capture activities for tribally owned company. Facilitate meetings and briefings with government customers, key stakeholders and internal / external C-level executives. Head full proposal management and writing lifecycle, including development of standardized templates and boilerplate content. Compose, edit and proof all proposals. Liaise extensively with contracting officers and submit proposals via various portals.Following are highlights of my key projects and accomplishments in this role:• Partnered with the current General Manager in tactfully facilitating leadership transition during a period of organizational change.• Forged impactful relationships with nonprofit organizations, companies and subject-matter experts in sectors such as entrepreneurship / innovation ecosystems, workforce development and sustainable energy.• Championed conversion of Sources Sought response into 5-year, multimillion-dollar sole source award, including new customer in Army Counterintelligence Command at Fort Meade.• Instrumental in retaining key Federal Trade Commission customer by authoring successful proposal for new 5-year period.• Triggered dramatic growth in expansion of BHI's capabilities through strategic relationships with diverse teaming partners, including BHI's first international collaborator.• Positioned BHI for entry into subcontracts under primes on major contract vehicles.• Attended a White House summit and met with multiple US senators and representatives on behalf of BHI.

In this role, I liaised directly with the CEO in guiding the company through business capture process design and implementation.Highlights of my overall contributions and daily responsibilities include: Architected proposal management and execution capacity in tandem with fully distributed team spanning six time zones, including direct supervision of proposal writer. Directed multi-organization proposal development teams of subject matter experts (SME) responsible for generating responses to RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, BAAs and Sources Sought. Functioned as program manager for ASTRO contract vehicle and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) memberships.Following are highlights of my key projects and accomplishments in this role:• Skillfully and successfully executed SBIRs, grants and contracts from federal agencies.• Engaged directly with C-suite and oversaw capture and proposal teams comprising Engineering, Program Management, Security and Contracts in pursuing and capturing numerous defense contracts entailing opportunities ranging from $50K to $50M - from US Navy, DARPA, US Air Force and others.

I partnered with the President & CEO to design the playbook for launching a groundbreaking innovation center to capture new revenue streams while boosting university's engagement with industry and defense.Following are highlights of my key projects and accomplishments in this role:• Crafted and refined concept for Ohio’s first 5G test lab and cultivated relationships with major domestic companies and an international firm to support autonomous vehicles, defense, manufacturing and other sectors.• Pivotal in app development startup's design and development of next-gen solution for connecting businesses to latent university assets.• Personally defined design specifications and negotiated revenue-share in perpetuity for Emergence Center.• Platform was met with accolades from corporate relations focus groups as a game-changer for higher education.

In 2017, I impelled a $675K corporate gift to found a first-of-its kind, transdisciplinary space simultaneously functioning as an agency, research lab and workforce development site. Highlights of my overall contributions and daily responsibilities include: Recruited and hired interns from diverse spaces to informally glean skills on reframing academic knowledge toward new concepts within a highly collaborative environment entailing contributions to real-world business projects. Guided and coached team of undergraduate students with no proposal writing experience in effectively supporting nearly $50M in client grants and contracts.
