The ORHMA is dedicated to fostering a positive business climate for Ontario's hospitality industry, while providing value added services to its members.The largest provincial hospitality association in Canada, representing over 11,000 independent and corporately owned business establishments.The ORHMA is uniquely positioned to represent the interests of both the foodservice and accomodation sectors at the Provincial and Municipal level.Responsibilities included:• Develop relationships, partnerships, networks and strategic alliances to support the implementation of ORHMA’s priority policy activities • Promote, communicate and advocate for the adoption of ORHMA policy positions with political representatives, members of the government bureaucracy, media and other key provincial and municipal decision makers• Identify opportunities for increasing the presence of ORHMA in media and public forums to promote the association through a variety of communications, acting as spokesperson• Report to and take direction from Provincial Board of Directors • Participate in regular liaisons with regional Boards of Directors in ORHMA’s seven provincial regions to provide support to existing membership and further develop ORHMA membership in these regions-including grassroots campaigns• Implementation of a regular member contact program for all regions through use of internal database/membership management system

• Oversee daily management of dynamic department within one of Canada’s largest ecoENERGY firms administering Natural Resources Canada’s Retrofit for Homes Program and the Ontario Home Energy Savings Program• Provide education training to Real Estate professionals for certification in regards to the Home Energy Evaluation process and specifically the Green Energy Act
