Brandy R. Maynard is a Full Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Saint Louis University. She holds a Ph.D. in social work from Loyola University Chicago and a master of social work from the University of Michigan. She is a licensed clinical social worker and has 16 years of post-master’s clinical and administrative experience in child welfare, juvenile justice, school social work, and mental health. Dr. Maynard has experience implementing and monitoring the fidelity of several evidence-based interventions in the juvenile justice and mental health systems. Her research interests include interventions with at-risk students, particularly in the areas of dropout, truancy, delinquency, and adolescent behavioral and mental health; adoption, implementation, and fidelity of evidence-based interventions; use and quality of research in education and social work; and systematic review and meta-analytic methods.
