Assist Director of Professional Development with learning planning for Tax Division and coordinate scheduling of tax training firm wide; assess CPE needs and create suggested plan of action to meet those needs; schedule training sessions for Birmingham and Atlanta office; onsite logistics coordination and event management for all learning events in the Birmingham office including directing other onsite coordinators in scheduling, set up, etc.; research venue, speaker availability and pricing for external learning events; research and manage tracking and record keeping of continuing professional education hours and credits for Birmingham and Atlanta office; head up renewal of Georgia individual CPA licenses; manage tracking and record keeping of applicable trainings for Georgia Retraining Tax Credit, and other projects as assigned.

Develop and deliver numerous educational workshops and conferences annually; including creating and managing event budgets, content development, speaker contracts, speaker management; ensuring smooth accurate invoice reconciliation, revenue/expense tracking, and financial reporting; create and oversee marketing/promotion timelines; working closely with the marketing department to create marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, web banners, and signage for each event; develop articles for the weekly newsletter, mass email articles and online event registration; site selection, contract negotiations, hotel coordination, food and beverage selection, materials coordination, audio visual needs; on-site event management including registration, audio visual setup, facility contact, welcoming comments, speaker introductions, and event evaluations; management, tracking and record keeping of continuing professional education hours and credits; assist staff and board members of member credit unions with educational needs, training research, event registration, and other tasks as needed.

Manage 5 stand-alone service center branches with a total of approximately 30 staff members; coordinate and lead monthly managers meetings reviewing financials, secret shopper results and staffing issues with the branch managers of the 5 stand-alone locations; assist participating credit unions accounting staff, managers and tellers with balancing service center transactions; plan, coordinate and deliver face-to-face, online and audio training to participating credit unions and internal staff on policies, procedures and best practices; enforce network and in-state policies and procedures as needed; complete budget for 2010 calendar year; coordinated bi-monthly board meetings, prepare board packets including agenda, executive financial summaries, management reports, etc. and present management report to the board at each meeting.

Provide training to participating credit unions allowing credit union staff to be in compliance with State and Network Rules as well as understand balancing and adjustment procedures for shared branching; conducted branch audits in order to verify each participating outlet was knowledgeable in completing all required transactions; planned, coordinated and delivered multiple training events each year from site selection, food and beverage, audio visual, registration, and event materials for participating credit unions as well as internal staff.
