Performed transformations of bacterial cultures (E.coli), picked colonies, performed MiniPrep plasmid purifications, and analyzed sequencing results. Performed expression tests, scaled up purifications, high throughput robot crystal screening trials, optimization of protein crystals by hanging-drop diffusion. Mounted crystals, cryoprotected, and quick froze crystals in liquid nitrogen. Prepared samples for shipping. Obtained x-ray diffractions of protein crystals onsite at SSRL. Maintained organization of lab chemicals and glassware.
